For decades, the competition has showcased the exceptional skill and dedication demonstrated by bus drivers every day. It provides a unique opportunity to celebrate professional drivers who consistently deliver safe, high-quality services to customers while inspiring the next generation.

ROSCO will once again sponsor the BDoY, ROSCO Award for the highest placed driver with an operator member of ROSCO.

This year also sees the introduction of the ROSCO sponsored BDoY, Best Newcomer Award, which will recognise the highest-placed competitor taking part in the competition for the first time. This award has been developed to encourage wider participation and acknowledge those drivers who choose to test their skills on a national stage for the first time.

The UK Bus Driver of the Year Competition continues to play an important role in promoting professional driving standards across the industry. It recognises excellence and celebrates achievement, the competition helps reinforce the pride that bus drivers take in delivering safe journeys every day.
