ROSCO Pilots New Way to Take Safety Updates Directly to Drivers

ROSCO is working with Blackpool Transport on a new pilot designed to bring driver safety information and ROSCO updates closer to frontline colleagues.

Using Blink, the pilot will allow ROSCO content to be shared through an established frontline employee communications platform, helping important safety messages reach drivers through a channel designed for their everyday working environment.

For ROSCO, it is another step towards making safety communications more accessible, timely and relevant. The pilot will explore how ROSCO can work alongside operators and the internal tools they already use.

Content will focus on key driver safety messages, ROSCO updates and information designed to build greater awareness of safe driving and the importance of recognising professional standards. The pilot also supports ROSCO’s wider aim of strengthening engagement with the drivers participating in its national safe driving scheme. Working directly with operators allows ROSCO to understand how different channels can be used to make its information easier for frontline colleagues to access and engage with.

Blackpool Transport will be the first operator involved in this pilot approach, with ROSCO keen to hear from other members interested in exploring something similar within their own organisation.
